  1. If we can't score 5 more runs on this poop team we deserve to lose
  2. http://pittsburgh.pirates.mlb.com/news/article.jsp?ymd=20070126&content_id=1787457&vkey=news_pit&fext=.jsp&c_id=pit http://pittsburgh.pirates.mlb.com/images/2007/01/26/lCst3Ged.jpg Goodness. Thanks, I did a google search but wasn't finding anything, guess I should have looked at the obvious place first.
  3. He might think it's burnt orange Are there any pictures out and about of these jerseys?
  4. We really should have done more in that inning.
  5. When the cubs go home; Friday I think it would be cool if Santo did the home games and Stone did the away games.
  6. Health/team dependant. Average OPS+ over the last four years: Fonz: 117 Pods: 89 Much better choice than runs scored. The fact that there's an argument about who is a better leadoff man between the 2nd worst hitter in baseball (behind GRINDERSTAD) and Fons is a testament to how underwhelming Soriano has been. Hope he fares better, for your sake. Ozzie has fallen in love with Erstad just as much as Lou has fallen in love with Theriot. Fortunately for us, Theriot is a better hitter and plays a middle infield position, while Erstad clunkily plays outfield or first base. Oh and he's an injury concern. I think Erstad being injury prone could only help the White Sox. Then they might be forced to call up their best outfielder.
  7. If the Cubs lose tonight I might consider pharmaceuticals to sort out my recurring spring/summer/fall dismay.
  8. Health/team dependant. Average OPS+ over the last four years: Fonz: 117 Pods: 89
  9. But we'd get to see more Floyd!!!
  10. Nice. I can't wait till "Scotty Pods" comes back and Guillen throws his awesome OBP into the top spot of the lineup and runs that team into the ground. Alfonso Soriano's career OBP: .325 Scott Posednik's career OBP: .342 Runs scored last four years: Fonz: 412 Pods: 351 But he sure is a grinder!
  11. Joe Morgan applauds the organization for honoring such an incredibly talented and successful major leaguer.
  12. Riding a unicycle and juggling. Now that is a feat beyond winning baseball games!
  13. I didn't really envision Jones grounding out...
