Huh. Wasn't expecting it but not a bad move it looks like. We didn't really have anyone that can play CF in a pinch either so that's nice.

I'm going to throw out the radical option here of: lets abolish errors I mean, after Arrieta's no hitter of course, but I am proponent of just eliminating them as a category all together

Yeah, thinking about this I just get existential terror about the idea of giving hundreds of millions to multiple pitchers over 30. That's not to say that doesn't make it the best baseball move if thats what they end up doing (it likely is), its just it's a crummy consequence of having poor luck with pitching prospects
