    If we lose tonight and the Brewers win, we're still up 2 games with 5 to go. I don't understand why people are freaking out so much. The game is only in the 3rd inning. And if the same thing happens tomorrow we will only be up 1 game. Yes and if the same thing happens the next six games we lose. You can't translate how we play one game to how we will play in another. We're way too inconsistent.

    If the cubs win the division but have a worse record than the wild card, do they play the 2 seed or the 1 seed in the first round? Also,what is the home field format for the playoffs? (First round 2-2-1 or 2-1-1-1, LCS and World Series 2-3-2 or 2-2-1-1-1) Thanks in advance.

    I thought his fate was sealed with the Monroe trade. Pie should sent to Iowa if he's going to be relegated to pinch running and late inning defensive roles. Not going to happen with a day until september callups. Just win cobs!

    I didn't want to make a new thread, so I'll ask it here. Is Guzman coming back to the bullpen this season? I thought he was supposed to be back by now (and he could be long relief) or is he done for the season?

    He swung the bat pretty well yesterday. Since Lou always loves to play new guys as soon as they arrive, I'm betting the lineup looks like this... Theriot Jones Lee Ramirez Floyd Monroe DeRosa Kendall Won't be watching the first hour or so. Hopefully I can come back and see a Cubs lead. I think Monroe might PH today but I think he'll get his first start tomorrow against the lefty, Doug Davis.     Do Newspapers and Sports articles count as non-fiction, or is it strictly books. I voted nonfiction, because I figured it was strictly book, but if we're talking all literature, I read more sports articles.
