  1. Nothing like using up all of his options early. They use one option only this year no matter how many times they send him out. Hey Bruce! Any word on who's going down? Word should come any minute. Bruce, you're just fueling the fire. I hope they pay you well for putting up with the desperate fervor of Cubdom. Thanks for all the input. See navigator's post.

  4. Please not Soto. I'd rather have Bowen than Hill, but getting rid of Bowen wouldn't be too bad.
  5. it's a list of a few of the non-power hitters on the Cubs. If it was a vote among all the players on the team, everyone would pick ARam or Soriano. Where's the fun in that? In that case, Derosa.
  6. I hate too enjoy people getting hurt, but if it's going to be anybody, Ben Sheets is the guy expected to get hurt first.
  7. Come on Rockies, score some runs!
  8. Winn with a grand slam for the dodgers in the 8th. WIN ROCKIES WIN
  9. it's unofficial, but ESPNews crawl says a "reported 2 year deal" He's 32 years old, played for Philly last year. 6'10", 225 lbs. 8.5 pts, 6.2 reb, 0.8 assts in 25 min/game last season. Nice bench option, but not the starting big man the Bulls need We signed him with pretty much all of our salary cap room. We're not getting anyone else. Power forward is between smith, thomas, and noah.
  10. Why is ARAM not on the list?
  11. He fell and broke his body. That's not funny considering cubs history.
  12. Mid to low 3's.
  13. Any updates on Floyd for us who don't have the game on tv?
  14. He's been inconsistent lately and he hasn't seen much time so he needs the work. Eyre is just bad. We have some breathing room.
  15. Dodgers winning 7-2 bottom 8 Cards losing 10-4 bottom 7.
  16. He's actually been very good his last 3-4 starts. And a lot better than a lot of us thought he'd be when signed. I like my crow with Tabasco sauce. I'm really pleased with our offseason. Everyone has at least been as good as expected. Derosa, and Lilly are great surprises. Aram is a beast this year. Marquis hasn't been as bad as I thought he'd be...as long as he as a decent 2nd half. Ward is awesome. Soriano has been very good.
