  1. That joke has already been made, and it wasn't funny either time. I didn't read the entire thread. As to whether or not it was funny, that is a matter of opinion. That doesn't surprise me. Do you ever read, or do you just go around posting thousands of messages everyday? No I do read threads. I didn't need to read this thread because I knew what the sox scores were. You enjoy picking on my posts, don't you?

  3. My vote is for sale. I want to see videos.
  4. NOONONOOOOOOO I guess Jones isn't going anywhere.
  5. The article says that they still want a 12-man staff. Looks like Petrick will come back up, imo.
  6. Wow. I am surprised ESPN thinks so highly of the cubs. Good to see though.
  7. 20-14?? What is this, football? Who scored the touchdowns?
  8. Scoring 3 runs per game? against washington added to my worries about our lineup. We have holes in CF and C with a questionable situation at SS. There are a few different options. Vance mentioned Posada. This board seems to like Dunn and Griffey. Arod is a dream but not likely. The last couple of weeks, however, have also shown me that our starting pitching is too inconsistent. Z has been wonderful since his "2nd season" started, but his tendency to work up a high pitch count early in the game worries me. Marquis, Lilly, and Hill can be both lights-out and horrific, and Marshall can be very solid or horrific. I'd like to add an ace to the top of the rotation so that I could feel more comfortable. Ideally we could add both, but if Hendry is somehow able to get one of the two, there is no way that he is getting another. It obviously matters who is available and at what cost, but which do you guys think is our biggest need going into the deadline: a pitching ace or a big bat?
  9. Atl @ SD 2:55 Mil @ Wash 6:05 Ari @ Cin 6:10 Phil @ Col 7:05 Fla @ LAD 9:10 PLEASE DON'T SUCK NATIONALS
  10. Dang you beat me. Florida and St. Louis don't count. LA is tied with the mets, 1 game behind SD (1.5 behind milwaukee)
  11. Interesting take. I don't know if I've ever heard of anyone pointing out how well an ump does in calling balls and strikes. You don't notice them until they screw up.
  12. No. I'd rather have gallagher (or anyone else) starting and demp in the bullpen.
  13. Let him? As if we are going to be able to stop him from doing so?
  14. Great news! Re-sign Luol and Ben, and trade for a power forward = 7th champinship
  15. We have to DFA Eyre. Dempster Wood Howry Marmol Weurtz Ohman Guzman If Demp or Howry are traded, add in Petrick. Wow is that an amazing bullpen. That's only one left-hander. I know, but what left-hander would we bring up? Who'd go down. (unless demp is traded). I like wood, marmol, weurtz, and gooz.
