Did Soriano throw to 3rd??? -
He gets strategy happy a lot, I'll admit. But he has a good team year in and year own when conventional wisdom says he shouldn't. I don't like the guy much, but a "hack" is overstating it. The reason for that is Duncan. God dammit hit the ball of this ---SOAPDROPPING--- clown. Duncan has done wonders with that bullpen. And I don't know how he's managed to have the 8th best offense in the majors...he's a miracle worker.... ;) Look at what he has done with that starting rotation That's all well and good...and I'm not saying Duncan has done a bad job at all. But to give him all the credit is missing the big picture.

Might even consider just putting him on the IR, and get him healthy for next season. Especially if the season starts off poorly.

Aren't we allowed to criticise and challenge her opinions, especially when they're completely ridiculous? No one has violated board rules here. It's a fine line between "criticizing and challenging opinions" and "mocking opinions". While neither are violating rules, nobody should complain about the reactions they get when they do it. Cuse was trying to defuse a bomb before it explodes, instead of trying to clean up the mess afterwards.

I thought Hanie looked pretty decent. I know it was against 3rd string D, but he looked like he was making quick decisions and sharp throws. The rest of the night was not encouraging.

I geniuinely mean no offense here, but did you pick Loria for comparison simply because he was the worst owner you could think of? Because what possible parallel could there be otherwise?

I don't even know what this means. Having the clubhouse to themselves? Who are they sharing it with now that they wouldn't share it with if Cuban was around? I'm confused what you're driving at. Some would, some wouldn't. It's still be a huge story because of the amount of money involved, and the fact that the Trib has owned the team for so long...it's going to be a massive change no matter who gets the team. I know you don't like Cuban, but I think you're letting that keep you from looking at this situation with much objectivity.

Indeed, but I wouldn't be so sure the Cubs would have pulled the trigger on Harden if Hill were replicating last year. If Hill was in the rotation all year Gallagher would not have gotten the ML experience that made him such an attractive bargaining chip. THus no deal Well, no deal the same way that it went down anyway.

reeaaally? how so? maybe in public opinion, but Orton can be just as volitable as Grossman, and they have virtually the same contract. He wasn't talking about contract. He was saying that Kyle's highs aren't as high as Rex's, and his lows aren't as low as Rex's.

How can you say that, when they have barely been on the Cowboys at all? Jones hasn't played a game yet. What were the Bears/Titans supposed to do that they didn't. Don't act like the Cowboys have this magic calming influence on cons. why dont you go back to the "how many wins will the bears get this season 4 or 5?" thread, we're trying to get ready for the playoffs over here How many unhatched chickens you got there?

Hey take the piss at least we wouldn't of just given 5 runs up to el fatto in 2 games Wait, how would we have avoided that? It amazes me how much laughter this comment got at important times ie when Marmol strugglees how many times does aramis step in 2 calm him down. With runners on how many times do the infield chat to make sure they set up properly. All i was saying is that someone.....anyone could of told Lou/Howry that this guy kills us geez get a life. There's a difference between Aramis(?) talking to Marmol, and Lee talking to Lou. I think Lou is perfectly aware that Carlos Lee kills the Cubs.

Haven't the Bears had more players arrested in recent years than the Cowboys? :-k The Bears cut arrested players. The Cowboys collect them. Gotta catch em all! Yet they stay out of trouble in Dallas. So maybe instead of collect you should say rehabilitate. Should probably let Tank and Pacman actually play a season before you say all that....
