If Cutler has a good to great season for the Bears, he at 26 years old will definitely get as large or larger a contract than Rivers at 28 years old. Rivers played on a team with a lot better defense too. Rivers wasn't playing catchup as often as Cutler, and therefore didn't have nearly the number of endgame INT's as Cutler. Though admittedly, I doubt that kind of detail will go into evaluation for a contract.
