  1. The Vikings watched it, and this drawing was the result. Chris Kluwe tweeted this pic... http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v421/Banedon/180595196.jpg
  2. Hester was mic'd up last week. http://www.nfl.com/videos/chicago-bears/09000d5d81b7b5c3/Hester-wired-on-his-milestone-day
  3. Whoever is getting Jennings is getting the better end of the deal, imo. I would take Jennings too, but I do think it's fair to offer. Jennings has questions surrounding him (how much will he get doubled now that GB has no running game and no Finley). Torain will start for at least another couple weeks and possibly longer and Bryant is a wildcard that could get more involved in a very good passing offense. I don't think it's severely lopsided. There's a lot more unknown quantity in Torain and Bryant. Neither has had any sustained success. That was my reasoning.

  5. But that game was close in terms of score almost the entire way. It was a little like it. If they keep playing like this eventually the score will reflect a blowout. Fair enough...I guess it just felt like it because of expectations coming in. Not that we thought, in either case, that we would dominate the other team, but I think we thought going into both of them that we were capable of playing with the other team. Especially this year, after the Dallas and GB wins. Maybe we did stay with NY to some extent, but I guess I just felt deflated in similar fashion after both games. NY didn't blow us out, but with the sacks and the Cutler concussion, I felt a similar level of disappointment.
  6. I felt like the Giants game was this year's "Cincy game".
  7. Why have a limit on the days that someone has to be on the DL at all if you believe this?
  8. Fewer, but the force is more significant, since they usually are the result of a ball to the head. Googling concussions and MLB turns up quite a few examples over the past few years.
  9. I'm not sure what the point is. Why is the 15 day DL insufficient?
  10. Ray Anderson is the NFL VP of Football Operations So whether or not he actually said it, he's clearly backing off of it.
  11. What do you mean by playing games? That play was a huge factor in the safety that occurred on the subsequent play.
  12. Martz addressing the play with Olsen at LT...
  13. Little cost to who? The players whose primary skill is to hit other people real hard?
  14. Yes, but probably won't be back till after the bye week.
  15. Chris Harris also missed practice.
  16. im sold!!!!!!!!!!!! I've already informed my wife that our next child (male or female) will be named Quade.
  17. Hell I specifically remember Peppers diving and getting a sack while lying on his stomach from tripping up Rodgers(?) a few weeks ago.
  18. Are running backs allowed to dive at the goalline headfirst? They might hit someone. Will they get ejected? Suspended?
  19. I think this is safe to un-sticky.
  20. I don't think it sucks. I'd prefer actual tackling instead of just launching heads into people. That is dumb and dangerous football. Ok, the "destructive" hits part sucks, IF the hit is a clean but violent one. I would hate to see a DB or Linebacker get fined and/or suspended for a hard but clean hit on a WR just as the ball gets there caused by just trying to jar the ball loose and therefore negate the catch. That's just basic football strategy. They backed off the "destructive" hits thing. There's a lot of bad info floating around out there.
  21. Yep. The rules are the same. James Harrison is threatening to retire...haha....
  22. I dont' think it'll last. I think it's a publicity thing to try to satisfy Congress, who has been "investigating" concussions. Over time, I think the enforcement will wane.
  23. You sound like an old man. So what if a game ends at midnight? If you really want to watch the game a person can stay up a little later if they normally go to bed earlier than that. Big deal. Judging by the ratings, there's not enough people that want to watch the games that bad.
