  1. Why are the Bears losing to the Seahawks in the ideal scenario?
  2. And the standings are at the bottom. By defensive rank, the Bears would be 8-8 and out of the playoffs. You can also just clear all the presets out, and pick each game on your own. The defense scenario is the only preset scenario where the Bears are on the outside looking in.
  3. Man that would make the Score a hilarious disaster to listen to.
  4. You'll beat the Lions.
  5. James Walker had the Bears 4th last week. Put them 11th this week. Everyone else had the Bears within one spot of last week.
  6. 2016
  7. hahahahha, what the hell does this mean? Total gibberish.
  8. Return of the Playoff Machine. http://espn.go.com/nfl/playoffs/machine
  9. lol...you understand the part about the CBA being collectively bargained, right? Selig didn't wave his magic commissioner wand and make these things happen.
  10. Cutler was yelling after the play. The announcers thought he was yelling at the refs for a previous play, but he was clearly yelling at Knox that he needs to get up and finish the play. Falling is one thing, but if he'd gotten up immediately, he could've tackled the defender with the ball. he was actually yelling at the assistant in charge of getting the play in. but i think we're talking about 2 different plays. the play i'm talking about was when he held two fingers up and said "that's 2", simms thought he was yelling at the "ref", which was stupid because he was obviously calling to someone on the sideline, and players don't generally yell at the line judges. after the interception, he was seen on the sideline yelling at knox and pounding on his shoulder pads. Ah, yeah. You're right...the announcers said he was yelling at the ref on that one too. But again, it was pretty evident that he was mad at the QB coach.
  11. In the interest of being thorough, Jeff Garcia is out there too. Heard he's under consideration in Houston. Also, Culpepper.

  13. Mannelly is out for the season as well.
  14. I do find it quite fitting that the thread about a pedophile and the numerous people who failed to expose his horrible acts is titled "Joe Paterno" Should I change it to "Truffle defends Joe Paterno?"
  15. Conference instability might change some attitudes towards this. Obviously it's just chatter for now.
  16. http://collegefootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2011/11/10/elimination-of-bcs-aq-status-being-discussed/ The biggest fanbases would get a whole lot more BCS games if the automatic qualification was eliminated unless it were replaced by a simple top 10 in the BCS go (which the bowls would never go for). It might eliminate switching conferences but it would cause a much bigger problem. A simple "top 10 in the BCS go" is exactly what they're discussing in the article. The only opponents to that would be teams that are part of crappy AQ conferences right now.
  17. well there goes your chances for winning I did find two people I've never heard of on CBSSports that picked the Lions, so there's that.
  18. Looks like the Bears are gonna be a trendy pick this week. Both PFT guys picked the Bears and so did Peter King. So far, the 3 picks that are in at ESPN have also picked the Bears.
  19. Quade to interview for the Twins triple-A manager job.
  20. I initially read that as "McCreary" and thought there was a lot more coincidence to that story. It's McQueary, not McCreary Huh...I even looked it up to try to verify my spelling...and found an article with it spelled that way. My bad.
