I've been pronouncing it "Muh CAN in" I've been pronouncing it MACK uh nin. However, the impeccable Wikipedia says it should be ma KAN in. I've heard a lot of Chicago media stumble over pronunciation, as well, which seems ridiculous. He's twice been a manager of big league clubs, you would think the guy is well-known enough that sports media should know his name. It's Mc-Cannon. Media still says Urlacher (rhymes with linebacker, not locker) incorrect, and Robbie Gould as well. It doesn't surprise me that they'd mess up a guy that's never been a manager.
