    Is this Carimi's second or third surgery? At this rate, not sure if we can ever count on him to be healthy. That's quite a jump. He injured the knee in college. Not sure if he had sugery then. He had arthroscopic surgery earlier this year, and then when they felt like the knee wasn't as stable as it should be, they decided to do this one to stabilize it better, and tighten it up. He was a "yellow" injury risk in the draft, which means he has had medical issues, but it's not a dealbreaker. Anyway, it's his first season...and he should be ready before training camp. I don't think we need to overreact much here.

    Knox will require 4-6 months before he's able to play again. Carimi is going to have another, more involved surgery to stabilize his knee better, and will take 4 months recovery time.

    I'd like to see Enderle play against Minny...just to get him some game time. But against GB, play Hanie. GB is gonna be ticked about losing to KC, so I'm picturing that game as a horror show. No need to get Enderle killed.

    1996 was pretty damn bad. Other than Bob Dole you had Lamar Alexander, Pat Buchanan, Robert Dornan, Steve Forbes, Alan Keyes, Phil Graham and Dick Lugar.     I deny that he had a "major hand" in the KC loss. I'm fine with that characterization of the Denver loss. Barber has still played well overall for the Bears.

    You're Marion Barber hatred is amusing. Considering he had a major part in blowing the last 2 games which is going to keep us out of the playoffs, how am I supposed to feel towards him? Well that's a stretch. Even if gets a TD in the Chiefs game, that's no assurance we win. Roy Williams could've made a TD catch in that game too. Putting that game on Barber is really looking for something. The reason the Bears may miss the playoffs are not because of Marion Barber. The guy has made a few mistakes lately, but overall, has been a quality backup RB. What did he do in the KC game that is a problem? Illegal formation on the goalline play where he was left uncovered. He didn't line up on the line of scrimmage.
