  1. it's been a whole bunch of "im waiting for god to tel me where to go" god apparently liked the nets until brook lopez got hurt and then god cooled off God is fickle.
  2. I'm not surprised, but I am saddened by how down on Kellen Moore everybody is. I'm rooting for the guy.
  3. I think he was just being polite. Or so I'm telling myself to not get excited.
  4. From what was being said this week, Deng may play tonight. Latest word is that Deng likely won't play tonight. I'm seeing Deng/Hamilton as game time decisions in most reports. But then there's this report from a couple of days ago where Deng said he was a week away...so who knows.
  5. From what was being said this week, Deng may play tonight.
  6. Irsay disputed this on twitter.
  7. I thought that's what the Bulls thread was for.
  8. Taj will play tonight assuming nothing goes wrong in warmups, but yeah. No Rip. Butler will start.
  9. KC Johnson has said Friday or Sunday as a return date for a couple days now. His ankle has been feeling better and he's been walking without a limp. No more Scal then? I would imagine so unless Taj's ankle gets reinjured and that would be a great thing. I would think certainly not as much Scal.
  10. KC Johnson has said Friday or Sunday as a return date for a couple days now. His ankle has been feeling better and he's been walking without a limp.
  11. The Bears are just waiting for the Colts to release Peyton so they can hire him as passing game coordinator.
  12. I'm sure you circled the Heat game on the calendar, but they sure as [expletive] aren't a rivalry. Maybe. I don't really know if the Bulls have a rivalry at all right now, but the Heat are probably the closest thing. It doesn't seem like the NBA really has many true rivalries anymore.
  13. Rivalries are games that are circled on the calendar before the season begins. The Pacers are a good basketball team, but I sure didn't look at when the Pacer games were this year.
  14. Wow....I saw the Magic had a huge lead last night and never turned back to that game. How the hell did they blow that? 27-8 in the fourth quarter? 8??
  15. I was bummed that tonights game is on WCIU, being that that's the only way I miss Chicago sports anymore, but according to my Directv scoreguide thingy, it'll be on NBATV. But the NBATV website doesn't show it. I hope it's not lying to me.
  16. I'm assuming yes and I hope he doesn't play in the Olympics but I wouldn't be surprised if he did. It's in London after all and he's always talking up his involvement with the national team. Exactly, and he's apparently been quite excited about playing. So it's gonna be interesting to see how that all goes down. In a non-Deng related note, Derrick wasn't happy about the Pacers celebration after the game....
  17. If Deng plays in pain, does he still eventually have to have surgery to fix the tear? Because after the season, he's supposed to go play in the Olympics for Great Britain.
  18. Haha....Rick Telander is a moron.
  19. This is what I'd be most worried about, that this loss causes Thibs to panic and bring back Deng (and to a lesser extent Gibson) too quickly. I'm pretty sure that Deng and Gibson were targeting Sunday as a return date, even before the game yesterday. Correct. Deng has been telling teammates that he's targeting Sunday, and Taj is walking without a limp now. It's not panic as much as it's just guys coming back. Both cases are pretty much pain management at this point.
  20. Yeah, too much is being made of it. I was fine with it. The shot didn't fall. There's lot of other things to complain about in that game. I think I heard this morning that the Pacers had 50 points in the paint? That's awful. BTW, KC Johnson said on the radio this morning that both Deng and Gibson could end up playing in the Miami game.
  21. Huh...I really thought I'd come in this thread and read more about how this game was lost on the boards. That's where it seems to me that the Bulls didn't play their game. They ended up only 3 rebounds down, but they were really not coming up with rebounds and loose balls the way they normally do.
  22. Love couldn't get a five year max deal. So he signed a 4 year max deal, with an opt out after year three.
