Mark Shanowski (sp?) made a good point on CTL last night. Part of the problem with a Howard trade for the Bulls is the Deng injury. If he's traded to Orlando, what are the chances he says "well [expletive], I'm just gonna have surgery since I'm not playing for a championship now."
They loved Theo's though. because they respect him. or at least bernstein does and he tells boers what to think. Obligatory http://northsidebaseball.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=2&t=26602&p=736822&hilit=mechanics+stone#p736822 Thanks for that. Someday Boers will leave that show and Lawrence Holmes will replace him and it will be a quite enjoyable show.
it's been a whole bunch of "im waiting for god to tel me where to go" god apparently liked the nets until brook lopez got hurt and then god cooled off God is fickle.
From what was being said this week, Deng may play tonight. Latest word is that Deng likely won't play tonight. I'm seeing Deng/Hamilton as game time decisions in most reports. But then there's this report from a couple of days ago where Deng said he was a week away...so who knows.
KC Johnson has said Friday or Sunday as a return date for a couple days now. His ankle has been feeling better and he's been walking without a limp. No more Scal then? I would imagine so unless Taj's ankle gets reinjured and that would be a great thing. I would think certainly not as much Scal.
I'm sure you circled the Heat game on the calendar, but they sure as [expletive] aren't a rivalry. Maybe. I don't really know if the Bulls have a rivalry at all right now, but the Heat are probably the closest thing. It doesn't seem like the NBA really has many true rivalries anymore.
Rivalries are games that are circled on the calendar before the season begins. The Pacers are a good basketball team, but I sure didn't look at when the Pacer games were this year.
I was bummed that tonights game is on WCIU, being that that's the only way I miss Chicago sports anymore, but according to my Directv scoreguide thingy, it'll be on NBATV. But the NBATV website doesn't show it. I hope it's not lying to me.
I'm assuming yes and I hope he doesn't play in the Olympics but I wouldn't be surprised if he did. It's in London after all and he's always talking up his involvement with the national team. Exactly, and he's apparently been quite excited about playing. So it's gonna be interesting to see how that all goes down. In a non-Deng related note, Derrick wasn't happy about the Pacers celebration after the game....
If Deng plays in pain, does he still eventually have to have surgery to fix the tear? Because after the season, he's supposed to go play in the Olympics for Great Britain.
