    I'm trying to think if the Chicago writers would be more likely to vote for Sosa or less likely. If it's more likely, Sammy might not make it to the 2nd ballot. Less likely. They all tripped over themselves racing to say what a fraud he always was and they really knew it. Yeah, the Chicago writers all took the Sammy stuff really personally.

    I figure we should aim to have 3 good/really good offensive lineman for next season. I think that if you have that, you can get by with some lesser talent at the other two spots. Draft a couple of OL and sign a FA. Hopefully out of that you can get two guys who can start, alongside Carimi. I agree but I know that we also need at least one young developing LB and CB along with a TE I think of those, you can skip CB for this year. Our secondary has been a strength this year, and replacing Urlacher and getting a pass catching TE seem to be more important.

Sure there was some advanced stats discussion, but then you brought up Cutler specifically not being in that top 51 article. I'm not sure why you mentioned that if you weren't still on the MVP discussion.

    lol, I could ask the same of you. Those replies AGREED WITH YOU. And you're still arguing. For some reason. The words you were accused of putting in someone's mouth was because you act like people on this message board made the argument that Cutler should be MVP. They did not.

    then how do you propose we evaluate QBs with any shred of objectivity? i've probably watched the majority of Bears games and had the same reactions, but that alone assuredly would get shrugged off as homerism PFF, which evaluates players on a purely individual level, didn't include him in their Top 51 Players of the season list a short while back (Briggs was #35, Marshall #12, Tillman #6) I didn't see Stafford on that list. I therefore declare my belief that Stafford sucks to be true.
