Rodgers is better. Stafford is not, and if you're saying Ponder is better...lol. I hate to say this, but in terms of QB rating, Cutler is in the bottom 10. If we compare defenses and by having a Hall of Fame returner, we can clear as day see that he benefits by having shorter starting field position. I root for Jay to prove everyone wrong and to play great for us, but not much has changed in the last few years. I understand the differences in QB rating. But the QB's on the teams are asked to do very different things. Sure, from a high level they all have the same goal...score. But Jay is still working in a mostly broken, slowly rebuilding offense that doesn't protect well. I know what the numbers say, but I don't think that if you put either Stafford or Ponder on this current Bears team, they could do what Jay has been able to do. I understand that I'm putting out an argument that is probably not well loved or respected on this board, since it deals in very subjective stuff, and ignores numbers. But I just don't buy that Cutler isn't as good a QB as Christian Ponder.
