  5. Sean Jensen of Sun Times says that a source tells him that Forte may play on Sunday.
  6. Interesting debate. The comment for the Bears from SBnation's power rankings this morning... As much as I'd like to agree, I have a feeling the Bears won't be favored against the Pack, even at Soldier.
  7. I will admit, it's hard from that angle to tell if it was helmet to helmet at all.

  10. Dirty play. Cutler is classless for instigating the defender. He even drew a taunting 15yd penalty, so he's careless too and a total moron too. Oh geez. It was dumb, but hilarious.

  12. McCown is signed for the rest of the season. There's no reason to cut him.
  13. I think it comes down to only having one backup tackle to plug in. Webb might be a smidge better than Carimi but not by much. And Webb has had more "ok" games than Carimi. Also a lack of confidence that you have a real LT fill-in.

  15. As is being discussed in the other thread, you have to stick with Carimi. You gotta hope he learns and develops, because you can't replace the entire line quickly. It looks to me like he's slow to move to his right. Isn't he a natural LT? Why not give him some reps there? It's not like Webb is lighting it up over there. They've always projected him as a RT. They don't think he's quick enough for LT, and if he can't handle RT, I'd say they're right.

  17. Players always say they're fine. Never, ever take a player's word for it. Although arthroscopic knee surgery really isn't that big a deal anymore.
  18. LT has to be the priority. Agree about Carimi. If you had other strong areas on the line, you could have a shorter rope with him, but as things stand, you have to pray that he gets better. I'd really like to get a QB drafted, but you also have to start drafting some depth on the defensive side of the ball. At some point here, we have to draft Urlacher's replacement.
  19. And NO vs SF. Well dammit. I was specifically looking for differences and missed that.
