    i'd never full on hate the cubs, but i could definitely see a scenario where i barely follow them for a few years, then pop back right in (in 2019) when they start to be good again oh wait that's happening now You barely follow them yet you post on a Cubs message board? Got it. I'm a mod on a Cubs message board and my posts are by far in social/other sports right now.

    So our first game with a healthy starting 5 will be game 1 of the regular season then, right? Will Hinrich be ok to play? I'd like to see Teague not getting regular season minutes.

    He's terrible. Doesn't see the puck at all. We may need a new backup goalie before long because if Craw were to miss a significant amount of time we could be in serious trouble. Who might be available via trade? Raanta has been OK at Rockford. If he puts together a nice string, he could be better than Khabi by 2nd half of the season. If Crawford gets hurt, though, it could be ugly. Oh, I thought Raanta was hurt.

It's really bad timing too because my son is being taught to dislike the Cardinals more than he's being taught to like the Cubs. I think we've lost some really good posters on the board due to disinterest or frustration as well.

    I don't even think they showed that angle last night on Comcast. Khabi is bad and he should feel bad.

    I don't blame anyone that is tired of waiting for the Cubs, and certainly don't begrudge them anything that they consider to be the "last straw". My team loyalties don't work that way, but I certainly understand that level of frustration.

    Care to give me a google map link of the location? I'm not too familiar with the area. Sure thing: Link It really is too bad it will never happen, because it's absolutely perfect. Walking distance from 3 El lines, a few blocks from LSD and 90/94, a long walk or short shuttle/bus from Union Station/Ogilvie, plenty of space for all the other revenue generating crap they want, and they could orient the view from the stadium with the skyline/Sears Tower.     Thanks guys. I'm with you, biittner, in that I don't understand the benefit to making as many changes as are being made by Q. I'm willing to trust him, obviously. Two SC's earns some leeway. But it's a long season, and I'd like to get these young guys out there, getting as much playing time as possible early.

    AKA eat [expletive], hockey. But, hockey players are only growing them during the playoffs. That's not a playoff beard. It's awesome as hell, but he's been growing that for a while. Did the Red Sox just start growing their beards when the playoffs started? Cuz looking at pics, I seriously doubt it. EDIT: Looking up hockey beards, and while there's some good NHL ones, this guy from a Swedish league is killing it...
