    ... and emery should get suspended; that was ridiculous. just a completely pathetic season from my flyers so far. The rules, as they're currently written, don't call for a suspension for what Emery did. That's an easy fix for next time however. I could see a situation where a goalie might want to fight a forward but there is no reason ever for a goalie to skate the length of the ice to start punching the other goalie. In other former Hawks news, it looks like Bolland may miss some time by having his leg cut by that Canuck's skate. I don't care how cumbersome those kevlar socks might be, the league should make people where them.

    Aaron Rodgers just said on his radio show that he has a fractured collarbone and they haven't talked at all about a timetable.

    This is an offensive league. Last night is proof. It was the offense that won the game, not the defense. Trestman is an offensive coach...why spend resources on an area that isn't his strength? Bears fans have to get over the defensive mentality. This is going to be an offense-first team, and they should draft and spend accordingly. I'm not saying not to ever draft defense, but you don't sacrifice offense for the defense.

    Everybody involved in the broadcast seemed to misspeak on several occasions, mixing up the Bears and Packers and their respective players. Weirding out about the late penalty and how it "saved a timeout" for GB and other stuff. Jeffries Chris Long

    Rick Gosselin from the Dallas Morning News is on the radio this morning and is saying how the biggest reason for the Bears defensive struggles is the loss of Rod Marinelli, talking about how Dallas is signing d-linemen off the street and they're getting sacks. That Marinelli is great with teach hand placement, and motivating guys... FWIW

    YES ITS 3 GAMES. Jesus Christ this team didn't randomly have their talents stolen by Monstars during the offseason. Give it a rest. What talents? This wasn't a title team the last 3 years either. And isn't the goal to win a title? Don't think it is in Gar, Paxson, and Jerry's world. You worried about the 1-2 Heat?
