That would be a [expletive] trainwreck. I feel bad for Abbatacola if he's not getting that shot. Mannelly's guest hosted a few times with Spiegel, and I really enjoyed it. He'll be great during the Bears season...the question is how he'll be after that.

Holmes said he saw "the big announcement" in the hallways. He said this during transition. Since Abbatacola was sitting right there, that pretty much eliminates him. I think it's gonna be Mannelly.

I enjoy Spiegel. Enjoyed Mac at times. I like Bernstein when he has someone on that will challenge some of what he says...Boers never does that. i disagree. Bernstein is at his best when he has a hype-man like Boers backing him up. he really gets the meatballs in a lather. and yes, if you don't like Bernstein, you're a meatball, sorry. I have no problem with Bernstein getting meatballs in a lather, it's fun sometimes, but I think he's capable of having some very smart discussion that Boers is unable to facilitate. I really like when he has Holmes on there in Terry's place. It's probably not as good "radio" without all the hooting and hollering and screamy silliness, but the sports talk is better.

Could me moving someone from another show to fill the 3pm slot and Goff will fill in the open spot elsewhere So on the score right now they have... Mully and Hanley in the AM, formerly Mac and Spiegs Midday, Boers and Bernstein afternoons, Lawrence Holmes in the evening and creepy Les Grobstein overnight. Boers and Bernstein isn't changing, and Holmes has some 120 sports thing that is taking up his time. So maybe someone from Mully and Hanley moves to midday, and Goff to AMs, announced later? Yeah...Matt Abbatacola has been the guy that a lot of the hosts have been pushing, but I really think he's boring. I've really enjoyed Pat Mannelly when he's been on there lately, and I'm hoping for him to be paired with Spiegel.
