I'm sure they signed Kyle Orton to a 2 year $11million deal because they were so confident in Manuel. They were so confident, they didn't make him a team captain. Manuel is bad, and it's not just a "perception on this board". He had a crummy preseason (yes, I know...preseason), and most people seem to think it's a matter of time before Orton is handed the job. Really? I'm not questioning you but I'm surprised Buffalo wouldn't give Manuel this entire season to sort things out. The moment they put Orton in, Buffalo accepts being losers for a good long time. Ok, I'm overstating it with "most people". But I've certainly heard it said by a number of "experts", for what that's worth.
