    He wasn't charged? He was arrested and released on bail. Whats the difference between what the media is reporting as being charged with child abuse, and "formally" being charged? Maybe I'm wrong...I know that McDonald wasn't...looks like AP might've been.

    I think they're justifying it the same way that the 49ers justified McDonald...saying he hasn't been "formally" charged.

    Right...same kinda situation as the Garza/De La Puente thing...the replacement might be better at this point, but the depth is hurt.

    Ratliff is a concussion. Shouldn't be too much to overcome. I'd imagine a good chance to play Monday, if not, he won't miss more than that game. Conte worries me because it's the same shoulder. Really troubling that both he and Tillman appeared to suffer the same injuries they had last year. I've heard some conflicting reports this morning about which shoulder Conte injured.

    The Ratliff and Conte injuries really hurt. I'd say Tillman too, if not for the game that Fuller played. I was up far too late last night digesting any kind of post game I could find.

    Fales waived? That seems poorly thought out... They'll stash him on the practice squad if they can, but what else can they do? They need depth at WR right now.

    1) That's irrelevant. "Other groups probably have the same issues" doesn't diminish what is actually happening in this group. 2) We have other sports to compare it to, and other sports have their issues too, no doubt (Semyon Varlamov's dropped domestic violence case for one, off the top of my head). But subjectively, it doesn't seem like it's happening with nearly the frequency that it is in the NFL. EDIT: I guess it's not so subjective after looking at the deadspin link.

    Marshall didn't practice other than the walkthrough and some light jogging. Jeffrey did, but was limited. Both are questionable for Sunday. Josh Morgan had a setback with his groin and is doubtful for Sunday. Bears will probably promote Bellamy and Boggs from the practice squad by tomorrow.
