    Rice/Peterson will take the majority of the heat, but is Marshall lumped in with them now? I doubt it. A lot of the national guys didn't know he was even talking till it was halfway over judging by twitter. There's zero new allegations, yesterday was she-said...today was he-said...but there's going to be no "money shot" ending to this. There's just no payoff for the national media to talk about it significantly. Chicago media on the other hand can make something like this last an eternity until the guy is run out of town.

    I think this will resonate more with the Chicago media than the national media. Too many other meatier stories for them.

    Already known dirty laundry. All they're saying is that Goodell never did anything about it...in 2007. Yawn. Yeah. I'm just sure it'll upset him to have it out there again. I'm a little confused why some are calling it "new allegations". Ignorance of past events.

    There's the mediocre defense we were all hoping the Bears could improve to be. Unfortunately, offensive injuries have kept that from being what we wanted it to be.

    I'll admit, that if he were to come back, this would be the perfect situation cuz he hates training camp. But still, he's been pretty adamant that he's glad to have the grind behind him.

    Urlacher to Tampa is purely talk though, right? Or is there something more solid? I only know that Tampa is pursuing him since one of their LB's went down this week. If he's quitting his job, you would think it's more than just talk, but who knows. Nah...he's not in football shape. He's said from the moment that he retired that he's not coming back, and he's been pretty convincing about it. I don't think he wants to play anymore. He was talking on the radio the other morning about dropping his kids off at school and then going golfing.

    Yeah, it is amazing how much they are just making stuff up as they go along. I cannot believe Minnesota thought they could reinstate him without blowback, and then they turnaround and cave to the blowback? Yeah, that is astounding. And I don't understand why the NFL has done nothing about AP. Why have they left this to the Vikings? Isn't child abuse a form of domestic violence?

    AP isn't suspended. He's on an exempt list, and is still getting paid. There's nothing for the union to fight. Also, AP agreed to this...his agent says this is the best way to handle it right now...yadda yadda.
