  1. Omg arguing about whether or not it's ok to argue is the worst.
  2. Everyone will never be back. Noah is going to be fighting injuries all season. And this team just can't stay healthy. Mirotic will find his minutes.
  3. A few Cutler high school pics in this slideshow http://www.chicagotribune.com/sports/football/bears/chi-jay-cutler-santa-claus-photos-20141219-photogallery.html
  4. Slow on the draw today Banedon Yeah, posting from my phone with pizza in my face took me a little longer.
  5. @Ken_Rosenthal Source: #Cubs claim OF Shane Peterson from #Athletics.
  6. @JonHeymanCBS David ross is still deciding. Appears to be cubs or padres. Apologies for jumping the gun earlier.
  7. His base salary for 2015 is $15.5 mil which is guaranteed. http://overthecap.com/salary-cap/chicago-bears
  8. trading cutler for a 4th round pick would be insane Oh I'm not saying it's a good idea at all. But I don't see someone trading away a 2nd round pick AND paying $17mil in base salary or whatever it is next season.
  9. You guys are nuts if you think Cutler is gonna get you a 2nd round pick. With the salary the other team would be picking up, it's gonna be a late rounder. 4th or 5th rounder maybe?
  10. Because no one is paying the entire salary in trade? NFL trades don't really work that way. I don't think you can trade someone and have the original team pay a portion of the salary. There would be a cap hit because the Bears are still responsible for the signing bonus.
  11. The more I think about that tweet, the more I call BS. If you're saving Cutler's health for a trade, why is he the backup? He should be inactive and Fales should be backup.
  12. Could make sense with his Vandy roots.
  13. Crasnick doesn't think it's the Mariners cuz they don't wanna give up Walker or Paxton. EDIT: And Olney ruled out the Cubs.
  14. Olney ruled out the Astros as the mystery Upton team. EDIT: Also rules out the Yankees.
  15. Rosenthal said not Rangers, not A's, Can't rule out Padres. EDIT: But another tweet says it is an AL west team, so Seattle does seem like the answer.
  16. My guess is the Rangers. Upton would have a hell of a contract year in Arlington, too. Crasnick just tweeted that it's not the Rangers.
  17. @jeffpassan Sources: Braves finishing up a Justin Upton trade.
  18. http://i.imgur.com/vktNaNxl.jpg
  19. Rondo to the Mavs almost done... http://espn.go.com/nba/story/_/id/12048931/rajon-rondo-trade-boston-celtics-dallas-mavericks-course-happen
  20. Shanahan would be a nice last ditch effort to make Cutler work.
  21. He's talked plenty of non-football already. He's not an expert in other sports, of course, but he's perfectly capable of watching them, talking about them, and asking the right questions.
  22. Noah had surgery during the offseason, and the thought was that he'd be ok for the season, but it was acknowledged that it's still a problem, and he's going to be having to fight it all season. Apparently there's swelling after games...it's going to be a rough season for him. EDIT: All that said, Thibs says they're more worried about his ankle right now than his knee.
  23. Taj out too. This game is quickly losing my interest.
  24. Grobstein is just as dumb as his callers.
