    Robbie Gould was just on The Score. Basically said that the locker room is a mess...said it was never like this under Lovie...this isn't the Bears way...he thinks that Jay should still be out there...doesn't know what message is being sent... Really laid this all on Trestman without directly saying so.

    Why is that a problem? The Bears don't have a ton of talent on defense and are going to have a lot of turnover on the roster anyway. The signs point to them being bad next year anyway, so that gives them 2 years to rebuild the defense. Fair enough. Not saying it's a deal breaker, just a consideration.

    I know that Bowles is the hot coordinator coaching candidate this year, but are we really going to go back to a defensive HC? If you're going the defensive coach route, why not Rex Ryan? His GM has given him absolute [expletive] to work with on offense and they've been pretty competitive every year except this one. The problem with both Rex and Bowles is that they run 3-4 defenses.

    The meatball fans are clamoring for Harbaugh, but that would be a poor hire, imo. It'd be the knee-jerk, "opposite of Trestman" hire.

    trading cutler for a 4th round pick would be insane Oh I'm not saying it's a good idea at all. But I don't see someone trading away a 2nd round pick AND paying $17mil in base salary or whatever it is next season.

    You guys are nuts if you think Cutler is gonna get you a 2nd round pick. With the salary the other team would be picking up, it's gonna be a late rounder. 4th or 5th rounder maybe?

    Because no one is paying the entire salary in trade? NFL trades don't really work that way. I don't think you can trade someone and have the original team pay a portion of the salary. There would be a cap hit because the Bears are still responsible for the signing bonus.

    The more I think about that tweet, the more I call BS. If you're saving Cutler's health for a trade, why is he the backup? He should be inactive and Fales should be backup.

    Crasnick doesn't think it's the Mariners cuz they don't wanna give up Walker or Paxton. EDIT: And Olney ruled out the Cubs.

    Rosenthal said not Rangers, not A's, Can't rule out Padres. EDIT: But another tweet says it is an AL west team, so Seattle does seem like the answer.

    My guess is the Rangers. Upton would have a hell of a contract year in Arlington, too. Crasnick just tweeted that it's not the Rangers.
