  1. I never stopped loving that man.
  2. Wouldn't be surprised if Clausen is right now. Wizarded! http://i.imgur.com/iZcUNxH.jpg
  3. He was traded last year.... That would've been a record, for sure. I mean...it was anyway for the Bulls...most points in a single quarter in franchise history.
  4. That's your takeaway? That Fales needs a start? The guy has an upside of a potential backup. He does not need to start. This isn't September baseball. Giving him a look isn't going to help anything. The Bears have 16 games and Jay Cutler should start every one of them. Like Brad Biggs said this morning, did you see anything in the preseason that made you say "Oh, I'd like to see more of that!" ? The guy spent nearly the entire season running pre-scripted plays of other teams offenses on the practice squad. Fales will get his opportunities to show what he can do in the preseason.
  5. Asked if he would demand a trade if Cutler was traded, Marshall said "Hell no"...says Chicago is home now, especially with new kids.
  6. Waddle and Silvy told Brandon Marshall that it'd be an upset if Trestman was still the coach next week. Marshall responded: "Really?"
  7. Raiola suspended 1 game.
  8. 360 will be tough, but the rest is pretty do-able.
  9. Cutler. Trestman already announced it.
  10. Brandon Marshall just said he wants to play his whole career with Coach Trestman
  11. http://i.imgur.com/397Xg5U.png
  12. God Trestman is so tough to listen to.
  13. Delayed symptoms...didn't experience issues till after he left the stadium.
  14. I've enjoyed coaching (Jay) and working with him.
  15. Whoops, posted this the other thread by mistake.
  16. I know that Bowles is the hot coordinator coaching candidate this year, but are we really going to go back to a defensive HC? If you're going the defensive coach route, why not Rex Ryan? His GM has given him absolute [expletive] to work with on offense and they've been pretty competitive every year except this one. The problem with both Rex and Bowles is that they run 3-4 defenses. Just an FYI, Harbaugh (with Vic Fangio as DC, who I imagine would move with Harbaugh) ran a 3-4 at Stanford and runs a 3-4 now. I wasn't a proponent of Harbaugh for coach, but that's good to know. That said, like everyone else has pointed out, we don't have some great defense that we need to preserve continuity with.
  17. I think I'm leaning with Sulley here, and rooting for Clements.
  18. Wow indeed 2.5 years left and close to $34 million that they will eat for him not to play for Detroit What on earth.
  19. The answer:
  20. I'm terrible at these kinds of things...but I'll go with the obvious... Randy Johnson Nolan Ryan Roger Clemens
  21. Wow, he must either know that Trestman isn't coming back or he isn't Yeah, he didn't hold back.
  22. Robbie Gould was just on The Score. Basically said that the locker room is a mess...said it was never like this under Lovie...this isn't the Bears way...he thinks that Jay should still be out there...doesn't know what message is being sent... Really laid this all on Trestman without directly saying so.
  23. Why is that a problem? The Bears don't have a ton of talent on defense and are going to have a lot of turnover on the roster anyway. The signs point to them being bad next year anyway, so that gives them 2 years to rebuild the defense. Fair enough. Not saying it's a deal breaker, just a consideration.
