  1. I'd love to see the Bears hire a coach that has done it before. Then I look at the available options, and I'm not excited about them. I'm guessing we go with a coordinator.
  2. He's come a long way. I'd be interested. It would be an interesting hire...he's already worked with Jay for the first year Jay was on the Bears.
  3. Geez...looking at some lists...Pep Hamilton is considered a head coaching candidate?

  5. http://www.snopes.com/holidays/christmas/donner.asp So basically there's two right answers....Dunder and Donner. Donder is some middle ground that's clearly not right.
  6. I get bored sometimes. Are you waiting to hear the PC? You listen to one of the Joe cocker tributes and flip back periodically until Trestman is on the mic. Oh, he already talked. It was pointless, as expected.

  8. He has another today? Do they do everyday or is this to make up for holiday time off? Not sure, but I know the radio guys are getting pissed cuz they have to work around this.
  9. Trestman is now 48min late to his press conference today.
  10. There's a right answer, and there's a wrong answer. There's only one D.
  11. Yeah, there's plenty of reason to still be optimistic there.
  12. Apparently PFF has Kyle Fuller with a -18, making him the worst CB in football.
  13. They have the new plucky 3rd string PG too, but that's not really different from every other year. Taj, when he's healthy is scoring.
  14. It wouldn't suck to me. I don't need Harbaugh's antics.
  15. This is the thing that makes me think the Bears will steer clear, moreso than the money. This has been a very odd very prolonged break-up of a seemingly successful relationship. That sort of off the field noise isn't going to please a conservative ownership group looking to fix a dysfunctional front office/management situation. also I do not know the answer to your question There was reports of Harbaugh losing the locker room. And you're right...I don't see why they would go to a guy that's in a public breakup, when they're going through one of their own. One mess to another. I think the Bears look for a guy that's more professional than Harbaugh.
  16. Vikings win 45-42, Cutty with 6 TDs. Done. Bears pin the troubles entirely on Tucker, Trestman stays. :( Trestman is gone. Bears could win 99-0 and he would still get fired. Agreed...just screwing around. The Bears scoring 42 would be quite the head scratcher though....they haven't gotten more than 28 all season.

  18. As someone that wants to see Cutler succeed, but the Bears lose, and Trestman fired, I'm very torn on exactly what I want to happen on Sunday.
  19. I don't know tons about these guys, but Decosta would be my first pick if he could be lured..
  20. In case anyone is interested in potential GM's if Emery is let go.... http://www.nfl.com/news/story/0ap3000000442679/article/nfl-general-manager-candidates-new-names-and-familiar-faces
  21. Spoilered for size.
  22. I never stopped loving that man.
  23. Wouldn't be surprised if Clausen is right now. Wizarded! http://i.imgur.com/iZcUNxH.jpg
  24. He was traded last year.... That would've been a record, for sure. I mean...it was anyway for the Bulls...most points in a single quarter in franchise history.
  25. That's your takeaway? That Fales needs a start? The guy has an upside of a potential backup. He does not need to start. This isn't September baseball. Giving him a look isn't going to help anything. The Bears have 16 games and Jay Cutler should start every one of them. Like Brad Biggs said this morning, did you see anything in the preseason that made you say "Oh, I'd like to see more of that!" ? The guy spent nearly the entire season running pre-scripted plays of other teams offenses on the practice squad. Fales will get his opportunities to show what he can do in the preseason.
