They asked for Javy, couldn't get him, and then traded him for an A ball pitcher? I mean, I know Espinoza is highly touted but seems like the Cubs are gonna be asked for more than other teams. I mean, he was BA's #19 prospect...not as highly rated by BP but that's pretty damn valuable. Not sure where Law had him midseason but he was pretty damn high on him too. Sure, but is that equivalent to a young major league multi-position infielder under team control for the next 5 years or whatever? I mean, I guess so since that's the way it went down.
