Most, however, seem resigned to the [expletive] of their FO/organization. Good for them. Yeah, it seems to me that Yankees fans are a much more rational sort than Mets fans, who I'm pretty sure are all insane. But that's a very subjective opinion.

    It's not just the hitting, his throwing is a mess too. Framing is basically the only thing he's doing well. So I guess it depends on exactly how much you value that.

    Ohh I never watch ESPN so I hadn't heard this. Tell me more. Bryant came up and Olney and the idiots in the booth start blabbering about how maybe this moving guys around "has gone too far." Olney even cited an "AL exec" he spoke to who said maybe teams should be like the Royals who had the same lineup everyday last year and won a word series! Lol...baseball players are playing multiple positions.... HAS SCIENCE GONE TOO FAR?

    I can think of so many worse things. Non-Cubs baseball related, this pretty much takes the cake. But, you're right, this isn't worse than world hunger or racism. I wasn't even going outside of baseball. I mean, it sucks for him, and certainly for Dodgers fans, but I can still think of way worse things within the game. The Pirates nearly had a way worse thing happen when Taillon got hit in the head the other night. It appears that all was ok, but a back injury hardly seems like "the worst". And now I've way over-analyzed your throwaway comment. Yay internet.
