    All of the bids must be made by Wednesday afternoon. After that, I don't know how long the Seibu Lions have to choose whether they will accept the top bid or not. But its going to be big, so they will likely accept it. I don't know how long after that an announcement will be made as to which team bid the highest. Crap...I hadn't read back through the thread, and somewhere I'd gotten the idea that bidding ended today.

    Look at it from this perspective: if they lose next week in New York, they lose the top seed in the playoffs as the Giants and Bears would have the same record and same conference record. However, by virtue of H2H, New York would be the top seed if the season were to end that day. Actually, if New Orleans wins on Sunday as well, they would be tied with both the Bears and the Giants (assuming a Bears loss). 3 way tie...

    Wait, so Urlacher got hurt? I turned on the soccer game after the 2 minute warning... Yep...limped off the field after the pile fell on his leg. He stayed in for the FG on the next play. Then went to the locker room.
