    I'm sorry for your pain. I hope Dierdorf likes the Bears, because if not you are going to want to come through the TV at him. I had to turn him down one week it was so bad. Gumbel isn't bad though. He does like the Bears...so far so good.

    Well, it really depends on how your defense scores, but I would take the San Diego D. Of course I'm biased, but the big thing is that the Colts do not turn the ball over very much (only 4 times through 7 games) and they don't let Peyton get sacked very much. That doesn't give many extra points for the defense. Yeah, as good as NE has been, I was leaning toward SD without Merriman. I just think Manning is going to get his points, and that Sunday night game may turn into a shootout. I picked up both of those D's this week to replace Carolina....heh. Thanks for the input guys...I just needed some reassurance of what I alrady planned to do :D

    Ok then...how about this... San Diego D or Patriots D? EDIT: btw...I went with Dez Clark. I figure that if both games are blowouts, they Clark will get more chances just because the Bears tend to pour it on.

    I'm afraid I'm letting my Bears bias get in the way...I have 3 TE's because I'm pretty comfortable with my starters in my other spots now that we pretty much have the bye's out of the way... Dez Clark vs Miami Antonio Gates vs Cleveland Dallas Clark at New England I don't think I'll be taking Dallas Clark this weekend, but I'm torn between the other two. I'm leaning toward Dez now that he looks healthy, he seems to be a favorite target of Rex's, and Rivers hasn't used Gates as much as I'd hoped when I drafted him.

    tvunetworks.com I found it from a 49ers web site last week. It's a way to get some broadcast tv over the computer...you can download the player, and get some channels you may not normally get...but the only game I can find on there is the pistons game right now...and nba tv.

    This absolutely sucks. WHY is this game not on the Superstation? My guess is that ESPN probably has the national broadcast rights for the night.

    I read that earlier and wanted to comment on the refreshing part. Why is it refreshing for a team to spend big on a retread? He makes it sounds like baseball is just turning its back on the lifers and forcing guys into early retirement on low wages. I don't get what is so refreshing about a manager getting his 5th chance to manager a major league team. Not only that, but how is that different from hiring Baker who had experience, and Baylor who had experience? I'm not sure how this is something suddenly different..

    More proof that ESPN ain't so smart...from Karabell's picks...ESPN fantasy expert... Um...no...the game's in Chicago...good try. Also the caption on the Bears photo on ESPN is that the Bears will have plenty to celebrate in Miami...maybe they mean Super Bowl? But I doubt it. I think someone has some bad info.

    I want to see Pie playing for the Cubs. But I'm not saving a spot for him if good alternatives are available. I've seen that movie too many times before. QFT I think this is what I was trying to get at with my comparisons, and I failed miserably. So I'll go with this... :P

    Comcast had that, too, except it was NFLNetwork on demand. But it was free right? They probably just have the on demand menus arranged differently. Anyway I just thought it was pretty cool.

    My point in the Thome-Choi comment wasn't to say that I want Thome instead of Lee or any such nonsense. My point was that we've had young players with a lot of hype that haven't panned out like we thought they would, and getting a proven player has instead been the right move. I should have used Lee-Choi instead.
