    Bye week over! Nothing else to delay the Bears run this year! Here's to hoping that today's game will help me forget Friday night. FYI...Sunday NFL countdown is going to have a clip of Bernard Berrian serving breakfast to some schoolkids. And they are going to "break down" Brian Urlacher.

    The only problem for me is that most of the Cardinal fans in my area are also Bears fans. Lame. They need to be Rams or Az Cardinal fans.

    I was down in Bloomington last weekend, there's a higher % of Cards fans in that bunch than Cubs fans. Towards me, they have been more than civil. Well right now there is...that's for sure. And they're civil...just annoying...not that I wouldn't be exactly the same if the situation was reversed.

    UK, it must be just because you're actually in Chicago that you don't have to deal with Card fans, cuz I can tell you down here, it's about an even mix of Cards and Cubs fans...although I imagine the bandwagon fans have things tilted in the Cards direction these days. Hell my in-laws are all Card fans...and I'm going to see too much of them the next couple of days. Not to mention going to work on Monday.

    last year he hit 276 and his obp was 290. i can't even imagine how insane that would've driven me. Wow. Only 11 walks in 2005. So you're saying he'd be a perfect Cub!

    Pudge coming on strong...I really like him. There's a part of me that still wishes the Cubs had picked him up.

    I'm not so sure about that. I've heard them stop taking calls before because of the idiocy of some of the callers. I think it's just the genuine nature of a sports talk show caller.

    It shouldn't shock you. There are a ton of Bear fans out there that are pretty dumb. B&B were talking on the Score last night about how the Bulls fans that call into their show are actually usually pretty smart about basketball, and said they were WAY better than the dumb Bears fans they get calling in.

    Mulligan and Hanley? I need to stop listening to Mike North on the way to work too, but I just like to hear Chicago sports in the morning, so that's my only source. I don't know who these guys are, but I think I heard somebody say Mulligan, so I guess. I turned on North, but that guy is painful to listen to. Mike Mulligan is a Sun-Times columnist and Brian Hanley is a Sun-Times staff reporter. And yes, North is very very painful to listen to.

    Is it necessary to seperate the Wiki's? Could the contract, transactions, and scouting wikis' all be part of...say NorthsideBaseballWiki.com? or Wiki.Northsidebaseball.com...something like that. Is there value gained from seperating them out? It seems like being able to have be a "one stop shop" would be more valuable. Great ideas though. Very exciting! :D

    I agree. If I was Benson I'd be saying something too. It's past time for him to get an opportunity. They were showing some of his comments on CSN last night, and they were showing some Thomas Jones runs over the top of that, and it was clear that Jones's dancing around is a problem...at least in my opinion.
