    Part of the thing about the Bears run D, and I believe that someone said this in a Bears thread recently, is that the Bears give up most of the running yards between the 20's. They lock down in the red zone.

    Sounds like a bad first half on Monday night and Rex could be out. Well we're sure going to need some offense. Because with those starters out Monday? You can bet the Rams are going to put up some serious points. I'm worried we aren't even going to have the ball enough to score. I thought Harris was the only one out for sure. I thought Vasher and and Todd Johnson were both just questionable.

    We have 4 games left, plus we'll likely have a bye week. I'm going to go ahead and hold out hope that Tommie will be back. Frankly I don't think he would want to miss the playoffs, and will probably be in Lovie's ear about it.

    After much waffling between PS3 and Wii, I'll be getting a PS3. Really 360 was never an option to me, because PS3 offers the same types of games, with a better overall system, and an online service you don't have to pay for. The reason for a Wii was the completely different gameplay style, and my enjoyment of several franchises, primarily Metroid, and to a bit lesser degree Zelda. I still will probably end up with one at some point, but I'm going PS3 first.

    Williams is going to want an arm and a leg for his pitchers. I think the "McCarthy to the minors" thing is just for show...I think he wants to get rid of a starter, but wants to look like he doesn't need to...so he can get max value.

    Ok, I'm unlocking this due to popular demand. Since this was more about Marmol's value than the trade rumor itself, I went ahead and edited the topic.

    I'd be asking that much if I was better than Juan Pierre and just watched him get a $9M/year contract. That isn't an unreasonable amount for Lofton, IMO. Especially for just 1 year. It's not unreasonable to ask, but it'd be stupid to pay that much. He's a platoon guy at best. As Truffle pointed out, there's been more money thrown at worse players this offseason.
