  1. most ESPN talking heads (Kornheiser, Wilbon, etc.) think there is no way he is traded And that's fine...I just want Kobe to make up his freaking mind what he wants.
  2. ESPN.com now says that Kobe talked to Phil Jackson and now says he wants to be a Laker for life.... what the hell...
  3. Because he was so hurt by the Lakers or because he regretting opening his big mouth?
  4. I'm willing to bet that LA won't trade Kobe to another West team.
  5. I'd rather have Wallace, Gordon and Deng. Agreed...and I'm not the biggest BG fan around. I wonder if you guys feel this way just because you don't like Kobe, or because you really think that Gordon and Deng are that good? I mean, I love both the guys, don't get me wrong, but I think if you have the change to get both Kobe and Bynum, I think that's a deal you have to do.
  6. The Lakers are not going to trade Kobe. I dont understand why all these sportswriters think its a possibility. If they trade Kobe they set that team back big time. As for that deal suggested, Id prob do it since in it we get to keep our 9th pick as well. Apparently Kobe talked to Stephen A Smith and was on the radio yesterday just laying into the Lakers...that's what prompted this conversation... http://www.philly.com/inquirer/columnists/stephen_a_smith/20070530_Stephen_A__Smith____Bryant_fires_back_at_Lakers.html
  7. Mike and Mike had Tim Legler on this morning and they were talking about this as a possible trade (they admittedly came up with this on their own, so it's not even really a legitimate rumor, just some radio speculation). Bulls get: Kobe Bryant, Andrew Bynum Lakers get: Ben Wallace (for salary reasons), Ben Gordon, Luol Deng
  8. Ok, time to put Lee back in my fantasy starting lineup...
  9. I mentioned him on more than one occasion when Dusty was in "lame duck" status.
  10. Even if he just owned 1%, he just made some bank.
  11. Posted: Mon May 21, 2007 4:27 pm Post subject: -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- John Clayton wrote: 1. The Bears -- believe it or not -- are a faster team than last year. Devin Hester was converted to wide receiver and he was zipping around the field, doing reverses and making sure-handed catches. Halfback Cedric Benson has a new spring to his step now that he doesn't have to worry about Thomas Jones competing for his playing time. Despite Lance Briggs' holdout, the Bears have some speedy replacements for the future in Jamar Williams and Michael Okwo. Adam Archuleta adds speed at safety. To make matters worse for the rest of the league, the Bears didn't have tight end Greg Olsen and halfback Garrett Wolfe at minicamp because they were attending the Premiere sponsorship affair in Los Angeles. This might be the Bears' most athletic team since the 1985 Super Bowl squad. Whoops. Missed it with all the Mcnabb stuff.

  13. Truffle will not approve of this. Actually I don't believe ass counts as a curse word... EDIT: It's not in the filter anyway.
  14. Crap! It's a game we should win. Plain and simple. According to some of you guys, we should go 162-0 in a season and if we don't, the world's going to end this year. Or, just maybe, there's some in between ground between completed indifference, and believing that armaggedon is upon us. Maybe...there's just some anger...just short of blind rage though.
  15. I'm ok with Dempster to the rotation if it's because we're trading Z for A-rod...:D
  16. I'm pretty sure that it was available last season too...
  17. The only way this remotely makes sense is if they are trading a starter... Dan Roan just speculated that Howry would be the closer if Dempster went to the rotation.

  19. I wonder if Alex had a heads up about this...perhaps why he's seeking a trade. I forget it it was Lawrence Holmes or Zack Zademan that was saying how good Hester looked out there catching passes, but admitted it will be different when there's contact.
  20. Sounds about right. I wouldn't mind bumping Ohman down to the "Trade if possible" category...
