I think it's an evolution that is going to happen. When they do leave the NCAA they will probably realign again into geographic regions/leagues and have some type of 8 or 12 Team playoff system. Where does this leave ND? lol, they may have their own league and just make the playoffs every year. I'm sure ND will be included. They are a big enough draw.
Just posted about this in the college football thread. About a decade ago I went to a luncheon with Jackie Sherrill as the guest speaker. He called this realignment down to 4 conferences back then. The additional prediction he made was that the 4 super conferences would leave the NCAA and govern themselves.
He sounds like he'd be more useful to the Bulls as a bench guy than as a trade chip. Or maybe he'll help fill the gap of someone else who is a trade chip.
ESPN is doing a mock draft show right now and they have the Bulls taking Malaki Branham from Ohio State. He shot just under 42% from 3-point range in his one college season but he took less than 3 per game on average.
You just HATE to see it. I’d say UT is maybe the 4th best program in Texas right now. Breaks my heart. Lol. I honestly don’t think Sark is going to succeed there. I guess we will see. They’re in for a rude awakening when they face an SEC schedule. Manziel saved us for the first couple years but once he was gone we found out just how tough it really is compared to the Big 12.
