  1. OK, DLee. Time to start hitting, please.
  2. Me, too! Let's win this series so I can talk [expletive] to all the Rangers fans I deal with on a daily basis.
  3. So close. For the bottom of the 9th I went and stood in the aisle at the back left of that section.
  4. You were one section away from me. I was in 218. Damn. Where in 218? I actually moved over there for the bottom of the 9th. Are you going tomorrow? I think I am back in 220 tomorrow, which is where we were yesterday.
  5. Why is Fuku not hitting for Nady here?
  6. Did you hook up with Vance ? Gross. Oh, get yer mind out of the gutter !! Didn't know he was here. What is with this strike zone? At least 3 times tonight a Cubs batter has acted like they were almost hit with a fastball yet it was called a strike. I can't tell anything from my vantage point.
  7. Posting from section 217 at the game. There are a ton of Cubs fans here. Even more than last night.
  8. I will miss both games this weekend while at the Cubs-Rangers games. I would love it if the next game I watched on TV was Game 1 of the Finals.
  9. I will be at all 3 games this weekend and I know many Rangers fans, so I would appreciate at least 2 wins. Make it happen, men.
  10. Sorry, Erik already said that game's over. I will be in attendance the next 3 games, so we need to win them all. Last time the Cubs came to Arlington we only saw 1 win, but we did get to see Sammy's 600th HR.
  11. Apparently this is the pitcher's spot and Soto is in the 9 hole.
  12. Way to go, Font! Bring Sori in now to tie it up.
  13. I just got out of a meeting. Why does Grabow still have a job?
  14. If I could, would you?
  15. I understand the salary relief issue, but I can't see Ricketts spending all that money on the Cubs and then go into a rebuilding mode for 3-4 years, especially with the Black Hawks going for the Stanley Cup, the Bulls rumored to be after LeBron, and the new offensive-minded Martz coaching the Bears. I don't know for sure that I'd do either of those moves (I'd have to look more closely at Quentin), but trading Z for salary relief doesn't mean we're going into a 3-4 year rebuilding mode. Actually, getting relief from Z, Lee and Lilly's salaries might actually help us contend within the next 2 years since we'd be able to go after some high-salary players (somebody like Fielder). Yeah, moving or letting go the guys I listed by no means means that the Cubs would have to spend 3-4 years rebuilding. Exactly. By getting rid of a ton of salary we would have a lot of money to sign some better players. There won't be any "rebuilding" here.
