...is hitting .327 with an OPS of .977 after a 3 for 4 night tonight. He still drives me nuts with the defensive lapses and occasional lack of hustle on the basepaths, but if he can keep hitting anywhere close to that line I think even the mouth breathers might stop booing so much.

Weren't the results of the rape kit from the hospital inconclusive? Maybe she had sex willingly and then decided later that it was a mistake and claimed rape. The DA said there wasn't enough evidence to charge him with a crime, right? Roethlisberger seems like a grade A scumbag, but if that's enough to warrant a 6 games suspension then the NFL might have to look into replacement players in order to prevent cancellation of games.

I read somewhere that they have already decided that Gorzo is staying in the rotation. Unless they do something ridiculously stupid, that has to mean Silva is headed to the pen. I guess that's because Old Man Piniella doesn't want four lefties in the bullpen. With the way he has pitched so far (I know, I know. Small sample size.) I'm not sure I want Carlos Silva dropped from the rotation.
