  1. We're going to get to C.C. next inning. Now if Ted can just somehow get out of this inning...
  2. First base umps really hate Theriot He was out by a step. Yeah, I didn't see the replay till now. Just thought it has been odd that it's been Theriot in 3 bang bang plays the past few days.
  3. He fouled a pitch off his foot in the first. Maybe it's still sore?
  4. 2 REALLY bad sends for Quade the past few days.
  5. Maybe a little low? It was about 8 inches off the ground.
  6. There's that good eye that has been MIA for a while. Nice job Geo!
  7. I would think he would here. I hope you're right.
  8. I'm close. I was a big supporter of his, but I just can't take it anymore. Ryan Theriot's made far more braindead plays this year than Cedeno ever has. It's a lot easier to accept when a guy is hitting like Theriot is, but to single out Ronny as braindead when the guy next to him is even worse at those things seems odd. Your probably right, but Cedeno has made some really bonehead moves in his short career. Getting thrown out on a SB when the hitter walks comes to mind for myself. Are you talking about that game against the Cards? That play was in the 9th inning in a game we were trailing by (I think) one run. I can't remember the exact situation or even the game for that matter. I'm pretty sure it was last year though and in a fairly big spot.

  10. I'm close. I was a big supporter of his, but I just can't take it anymore. It would be so typical for Cedeno to come through with a big base hit next inning and all is forgiven...
  11. I love how the fans at the ballpark are booing Lilly for making a couple moves to second, only moments after he successfully picked him off. (I know fans everywhere do this)
  12. Sabathia's gonna reach 130 after 6? Well, I assumed with him pitching 3 straight CG that he may not be very effective after about 100. Although if he's ineffective and still pitches 130, that would be nice as well. Probably a little optimistic I suppose.
  13. Maybe he'll wear himself out of the basepaths if nothing else. Although I'd settle for a DP I guess.
  14. Fred, your PBP is too fast for MLB.TV. Maybe a slight delay to keep the drama in tact? :D [sigh] I know, I know. No matter how much you give, your public always demands more... I actually like the fast pbp when watching mlb.tv. It's a heck of a lot easier on my heart.
  15. Hopefully Perry can advise the cubs to be a little more patient next inning. He's at 47, so he's on pace to go about 6 if the Cubs can take a few more.
  16. C'mon guys, make him work a little if you can.
  17. \:D/ I hate to act like a know it all, but I called a Soriano hot streaking starting yesterday in Saturday's game thread...
  18. any chance of a 3 man rotation? Z/Harden/Dempster
  19. Hey Ted, let's make next inning a little more pitch efficient. OK?
