Again, I thought we were done with Neifi Perez types on the Chicago Cubs. Jim Hendry really missed big time on that one. I assumed that he wouldn't be all that good. I never imagined he would be this bad. At least Neifi had a little power and could play adequate defense at multiple positions. And...there goes the lead. :banghead:

Does it even matter? I am betting you could hold us to 1 run. In all fairness, Carpeter, Wainwright, and Peavy are three really tough starters to touch up. Still, scoring one run over 4 games is beyond inexcusible - as is being shutout by Pinerio - but I'm just saying. They have to break out of it sometime really soon. And....when I'm typing this Blanco somehow legs out a triple. I give up.
