  1. i didnt even have enough time to bump my rockies of error post
  2. after this loss we should grant jon his release so he can play for a contender
  3. hard to understand how this strategy of either striking out or hitting pathetic ground ball isn't resulting in runs. Seriously 12 of the 15 outs have been strikeouts or groundouts
  4. 3 hitting coaches in 3 years sounds like a totally stable thing to have happen
  5. what makes you think it would be "based off playoff performances" in maddon's case? It's more likely (assuming this report is real, who knows) that they want to get rid of maddon but are wary of doing it if the cubs make an extended run in the playoffs again. Losing the division lead and then dropping 163 and the WC game at home would just allow them to more easily cut Maddon loose without too much scrutiny. Based off the post I replied to and the other article today of it being based on how the playoffs go? If they want him to go fine, I’d completely get it. But the reason being how the playoffs go I 100% don’t buy. "gone if" does not mean "gone because"
  6. feels like this is where big donk jon sees it go off the rails
  7. Olney mentioned on his podcast today that there is speculation within baseball that Roberts and Maddon could be gone if they get bounced early. It would seem to be very unlike both teams/FO’s to make their decision based off the postseason. Off other reasons, sure. But just based off playoff performances I find that hard to believe. I still don’t think Joe is gone unless he decides to retire. what makes you think it would be "based off playoff performances" in maddon's case? 8. lol this ump is trying so hard and for that - i love him
  9. yikes. rockies are so confident that they'll win that their coach doesnt even break stride when matt holiday hits a double.
  10. god bryant is just pitiful right now. got jammed by 90 mph "heat"
  11. remember when we scored 8 runs against the dodgers in the LCS last year good times How many did we score against the Mets in 15? i dont believe we have ever scored a run against the mets
  12. jon lester whips ass im gonna delete this later if he gets shelled but like this dude is just bad ass. sucks that he's saddled with this horsefeathers ass offense
  13. no 2 run bomb no 2 run bomb no 2 run bombno 2 run bombno 2 run bomb v no 2 run bomb no 2 run bombno 2 run bombno 2 run bomb no 2 run bombno 2 run bombno 2 run bomb
  14. We should have put Murphy in a Mets uniform tonight. Or tricked him into thinking he was playing against the Cubs and not for the Cubs. or just left his bitch ass off the roster
  15. ARod is so bad. i liked him when he was doing postgame stuff but man he has a long way to go in the booth
  16. Pointlessly pulling Chavez for La Stella when he did is all on Joe. Yep, that was a huge mistake in my opinion. You probably burn him for today if you send him back out there, but then again, you’re possibly not playing today if you leave him in and can score a run. I have no idea who’s closing in that scenario though. in retrospect didn't it pay off? We only scored one run. Unless he developed a way to somehow hold milwaukee to negative runs, we would have burned him for today and still lost. Im aware this is a results over process situation but I'm glad chavez can pitch today so
  17. I want to see every poster make at least two pre-game shot calls for tonight 1.) Freeland has a flukishly low HR/FB rate (5th best among qualified SP in the majors) and gives up home runs to zobrist and KB. 2.) A Rockies outfielder badly misplays a ball in the outfield leading to a Cubs run.
  18. However, she liked it.
  19. You should hate Muncy, Peterson, Hernandez and Taylor with all your heart. horsefeathers those guys yeah exactly. max muncy was worth essentially the same WAR as Baez this year. if that's ok with you you can absolutely funk off
