If you mean "juuuust missed on Julio Jones" as in Julio like OU but never consider OU? Then you would be right. Jones loved his visit to Oklahoma, but Jones was never going to go to OU, and that is guarantee. The only team I feared for Julio Jones was Texas Tech, cause Jones was definately intrigued by playing alongside Michael Crabtree and Graham Harrell. TT was the only Big 12, IMO, that had a legit shot at Jones, and he basically blew TT off the last weekend of recruiting. alabama would lose 10 out of 10 times and that is "guarantee"

i don't know if you were directing that at me, but i never tried to debate that OU hasn't played against better offenses. of course they have. the big xii has more high scoring offenses b/c they have more crappy defenses. do you think that Florida really couldn't shut down this Mizzou offense too? Florida's defense looks better than it is because it plays bad offenses

those offenses are good b/c they play against Howry defenses all season but the sec has at best, two good defenses and one good offense

I thought this was the worst USC team since 2001. They are still really good though. somehow that offense managed to average over 20 points per game against vaunted pac-10 defenses and the defense managed to shut down those furious pac-10 offenses except oregon state
