    I think very highly of Evans. Much higher than most, it seems (though obviously some of that is relative to this subpar draft class). he reminds me of jerry stackhouse without the ability to shoot. i guess that's not necessarily a good thing.

    didn't chase jump 38.5 at the combine? he would instantly be the best american born white player in the NBA also, i really wish tyreke evans didn't look like an idiot when he shoots a jumper. he'd be the second best prospect in the draft.

    i once had a fake jason lezak (us olympic swimmer) facebook account with a couple thousand friends. all my updates were "me" complaining about michael phelps getting all the credit. A lot of people fell for it, too, including some actual swim team members like natalie coughlin or whoever she was. She was not pleased with me when she realized it was fake.

    I haven't kept track of the incoming guys the last few years. Seems like we sign a hyped-up guy or two every year and they just tend to fade away (like most of these guys, I guess.) So are any of these guys worth keeping track of?

    orlando hudson is so frustrating i know we needed to save some cash in case we got hard into the peavy deal in the offseason, but when we realized that we weren't getting him and we were going to get 600 at bats of mike fontenot, shouldn't we have tossed 6 mil or whatever at hudson?

    I don't see a big trade happening. The Cubs have been reluctant to take on new payroll with ownership still in flux. We have little in the minors to offer, and trading one of the few pieces we do have seems shortsighted. It's time for some of the players we already have to simply start playing better. Jeff Stevens, Kevin Hart, Greg Reinhard, and even Aaron Heilman could be quite usefull to teams looking for bullpen help. Jake Fox should entice many AL teams. We also have several AA and below prospects that a lot of teams would be interested in. if we had pieces that could help a bullpen, don't you think we'd be using them for our own bullpen? Hahaha, that's awesome. Let's trade some relievers for relief help. WAIT A MINUTE
