I know Nathan Stanley, Ole Miss' backup QB, from covering him in high school about 1,000 times. He actually kind of reminds me of Snead. Lot's of measurables but questionable decision making.

Who can, consistently? I don't know. I can see OU falling from grace (I lived through some rough years when in the pre-stoops era), but I don't see Texas ever falling from its perch at or near the top of the Big 12. They have a great campus, great city, great facilities, great recent history and one of the top 3 recruiting bases in america. The only team that's consistently good enough to challenge them is Oklahoma, and we've thrown up a couple of clunkers this decade, even though we've been at the top of our game.

things have been bad there since the offseason leach got pissed off at his bosses and has been pushing their limits all year. they want him out and he wants out, this just gave them a semi legitimate way to do it i also hear he was owed an 800k payment on Dec. 31. I think he's going to make 400k for each year left on his contract. not bad paper to go out on a job search. He was never going to topple OU and Texas in the Big 12 anyway. They seemingly would pick off one of them per year, but let's face it, in Lubbock, you're kind of at a disadvantage.

I'm not saying you committed a sin or something; you're trying to drum up hits for a new website with a story about a "hot rumor" that most of us hadn't heard about outside of random speculation. That made it sound less like a legitimate story and more like that sleazy [expletive] we complain about less reputable websites doing. If it's a real rumor it's not big deal. I still haven't heard about it being legitimately discussed outside of idle "the contracts could work/mcgrady and his contract are a fit in chicago" type of speculation. Surely you see how people would be kind of offended.

People are complaining because you've been trying so hard to get hits for those 312sports articles, so it seemed like you were fabricating a rumor for cheap page views, that's all.
