Well, you're ignoring Landry Jones this year and Tyler Bray and Aaron Murray next year. Whether or not Palmer was elite a few years ago matters not now. The Raiders aren't getting Palmer from his heyday and even if they captured lightning in a bottle with him, they significantly overpaid. Landry Jones isn't going to do dick in the NFL I dont get it either. Throwing 19 screen passes a game doesn't work in the nfl

I didn't watch a full Cubs game after like, halfway through June, so Samardzija's numbers are kind of shocking to me. I guess at this point, he has enough innings to where we can say he can officially strike people out. As I remember, he had two questions in the minors, can he strike people out and can he stop walking them. Does he do that effectively wild thing that Marmol does? I don't even remember what Samardzija's strike out pitch is. I know it's not that straight-ass fastball.
