    It deceives the other team. i dont get the penalty either. just spot the ball at the point of the fair catch eh, it's kind of unsportsmanlike conduct. that's what i'd call it anyway. plus, not calling a penalty might encourage other teams to start doing the half-wave and hope the refs don't catch it. i mean, if there's no penalty for it, why not try it? yeah, that's a good point. "i dont get it" rescinded.

    Carmelo doesn't even fit dantoni's system. I feel like you need a pg to make it work and instead, they have douglas or shumpert chucking the ball or carmelo on a 20-second iso. ideally, they could get a PG like Lowry for Amare, but they don;t have any picks or anything to make that appealing.
