  1. I'd pay for ESPN Insider before I'd pay for Prospectus. got damn
  2. I get the feeling that if someone tries to put vitters on an end-of year top 100 list, someone will just say "he's in the pcl, idiot" and it will be dismissed.
  3. man, the wolves. everyone said williams would be a bad fit style-wise (he was) but that he was BPA and they had to take him because the draft was weak, etc, etc. Now he's been there a year, is OBVIOUSLY a terrible fit, and they either have to move him for junk or just keep playing him off the bench and out of position. Meanwhile, they could have just taken Kawhi Leonard and that would have been perfect but noooooo, fit be damned, you have to take the highest ceiling guy.
  4. I think bradley beal and jeremy lamb will be the 2 best non-davis players in the draft.
  5. hopefully he doesnt get past 28
  6. shouldnt we pull vitters up so he can get his routine half-season of shitty at-bats post promotion out of the way before next year

  9. rose should have just got tjs in high school
  10. I think OKC needs another scoring option. I think Ibaka can become that, but I'm skeptical. They need to figure out their cap situation with Harden and Ibaka, but other than that, they just need KD to put enough muscle on to be able to D bigger covers adequately and not get worn down and pushed around as much by physical defenders. Ibaka is going to get MASSIVELY overpaid. MASSIVELY. he has one skill (blocking shots helpside) and one half skill (sometimes hitting outside jumpers) and that's it. Can't pass, so he basically stands around 20 feet from the basket each possession and sets picks. Can't catch the ball, so he's useless in transition. And can't defend anyone who stands more than 5 feet from the basket But he blocks more shots than anyone in the league and someone is going to pay him. He's valuable to us while he's cheap, but someone's going to price him out of the range where it makes sense for us to keep him.
  11. Hamilton has a shot to stick at short, which already gives him a leg up on Campana. He also doesn't pound the ball into the ground as much as Campana (who has had GB% numbers in the high 50's/low 60's whereas Hamilton is around the 50% mark). I'm not sure if Hamilton has that much more "real" power over Campana, but he's probably more of an offensive threat than Campana, and Campana's speed, which is plus, is not close to Hamilton's speed, which is plus-plus ... and hell, you can probably throw another plus in there for emphasis. Hamilton also doesn't have a fast-pitch softball swing
  12. NO [expletive]. most frustrating part of the series. How can a team reach the finals and not only allow 20 wide-open 3-pt attempts per game but ALSO allow 20 wide-open layups per game? Half of Miami's possessions ended with at least four thunder defenders wandering around looking at each other like who was supposed to guard that guy? shockingly, we still could have won at least the first three games. it probably would have been the worst finals performance by a winning team in history.
  13. a heavy, heavy burtation
  14. LeBron bodies durant out past the 3-point line for a quarter and durant gives up and floats around for the next 36 minutes.
  15. Can you imagine if Lebron had two straight soft-ass games like Durant's put up in games 3 and 4? Skip Bayless would immolate himself.
  16. I hope he really is starving. He probably has some leftover chili ahahahhahahahh excellent
  17. he doesn't look one day older
  18. lets sign jason schmidt
  19. Not so easy when you have to face a lineup more than once in a day, huh
  20. He was awesome on twitter when cutler got hurt and obviously that rules.
  21. That kid is 19! Let me tell you, that is the kind of talent that can bring a franchise back from dead. To put Bryce Harper in perspective...he's 19, too. Yeah, Harper is 46 days older than Baez. jesus christ
  22. well [expletive], i was hoping to have a productive lunch
  23. I'm always kind of surprised when I see Harper on tv, because he looks much smaller than I figured he would be. He doesn't look 6'3, 225 to me.
  24. I never, ever, ever, ever, ever in a million trillion zillion years thought Durant would ever approach this level of passing acumen. he still looks ugly doing it, but he's able to keep defenders honest because he's not always *JUMP SHOT* *RECKLESS DRIVE TO THE BASKET*
