The Quakers are off to a nice start 2-0. But this one was a little closer. Decent pitching, but their offense has been decidedly lacking. EDIT - The Quakers will be 2-0 once Adam changes the scoring.

Adam - Tim had 8 starts last week. You will need to use your commish powers.

Is the prospect draft over?

65 :( I do not have much faith in the Cubs pitching. I think the beginning of the year will be a disaster leading to the Cubs calling up the youngsters and trading Shark. The youngsters will play rather well leading to numerous victories after the wins do not mean anything. I have faith that the Cubs will be in line for two more good draft (this June's and next.) I do like what I see on the horizon however. If a few more losing years leads to what I think it can, then I can be patient.

Talk to me when Cashner tops 175 innings in a season. I think Cashner will do that this year.

Garcia, Harrison, and Iwakuma have all been placed on the DL.

Just dropped Cozart, put Owings in at SS, Dickerson back to the minors. The only issue is that Garcia, Harrison, and Iwakuma are on my DL. That should be accurate, but I will have to check to make sure.

Interesting that the guy with two second round picks makes this suggestion. :-k Self-Interest...maybe...not consciously...Shrewd analysis of how long long it takes some of us to make a draft pick and an eye on how many more days it is before the season starts...definitely. Why does it matter if the season starts? I would assume that we would want all of the drafting done by then. Line-ups set, and then play ball.
