yes, if this is happening, it should not be. pick up your drafted minor leaguers by the first day of the season. I should state here that I do not know if this is occurring.

Has everyone picked up their minor league draft picks already? There should be a time limit to how long it takes a team to pick up its selections from the minor league draft. A team should not be able to use the draft to provide itself with more roster space, i.e. like 12 minor league slots. I am thinking the start of the season. After that they are fair game for anyone to pick up. Good rule?

Just wait until after the waiver process starts. Then your minor leaguer will be a free agent and you can pick them up without losing your waiver position.

With the improvement in the quality of our prospects, I am getting excited about this year's minor league season. Not only that but I will be able to see Boise when they are in Salem and when they are in Hillsboro. Shoot...Eugene is not that far away. :D -

Wait 5th round prospect picks? We're not having 5 rounds of [expletive] prospects. Some teams are going to have to drop 15 prospects to get down to 10. I thought we only have 3 rounds for the minor league draft Let's start the waiver process by getting everyone legal. If owners still want prospects they can pick them up during waiver process I agree.

And thus begins the earliest quitting on the season yet in Roadkill... ;) I think Rodelo took that award already this year My pitching is still pretty decent so that should win me some games but yeah I am playing for next year I was just talking about the minor league draft...lol... I will make a decent effort to start the season. If Chapman lives up to his hype as a starter, Montero becomes a solid DH, etc...I could have a decent team, but chances are that I will be an early seller.

A sick month, you mean? I've now worked 100.5 hrs of comp time since Jan 1, so yes I mean month. sorry, new guy syndrome. Unless we are changing things up this year, you will not need to take a sick day. We will allow the draft to extend over several days. Adam, am I correct?
