  1. Calling Vance. I'm voting for Patterson.
  2. Nevermind, I now realize that nobody else on the Nationals is worth anything.
  3. Is Dmitri Young having a better year than Ryan Howard?
  4. I need to see Sosa on the AL roster.
  5. lol This is so fitting. Is anybody else kind of hoping for a 15 inning marathon?
  6. Albert Pujols Derek Jeter Miguel Cabrera Johan Santana Carlos Zambrano
  7. http://www.icecreamplanet.com/AA.snickers.jpg I'll have one in his honor tonight.
  8. As a Suns fan I really hope Phoenix can net a trade for Garnett tonight. I'm kinda hoping for a third year in a row with 0 draft picks.
  9. Wait, why does this game matter?
  10. Day game after a night game and he just came off the DL... Still would be nice to see him start today figuring there's a scheduled off day tomorrow. Should be able to pinch hit.
  11. According to Gameday its 9mph out to RF. Good news for Cliff. And Hawpe and Helton. And Fontenot. Wait Fontenot doesn't need any help, nvm.
  12. I was just saying last night that Lou has been very "not Dusty-like" recently. Which is a very good thing.
  13. Wait, I thought Fox was a catcher.
  14. lol this makes twice in the past 3 years that we have to endure orange All-Star game uniforms.
  15. I'm not sure which one I'd like to see go the most. No really, I've been thinking about this for about 10 minutes and I have yet to come to a decision. Probably J- no wait, Izturis. GAH! Can we not trade them both? Someone start a poll, I'm actually curious as to which one people like the least.
  16. I'm having a hard time believing that any team has any interest in Jacque Jones. http://www.danwoody.com/JJ.jpg
  17. I don't think any of us will ever forget this performance... GIANTS 9TH: Mayne singled to right; Mueller singled to center [Mayne to third]; MULHOLLAND REPLACED TAPANI (PITCHING); Javier singled to left [Mayne scored, Mueller to second]; BURKS BATTED FOR DUNSTON; Burks walked [Mueller to third, Javier to second]; SANCHEZ RAN FOR BURKS; Bonds lined out on a sacrifice fly to right [Mueller scored, Javier to third]; BECK REPLACED MULHOLLAND (PITCHING); Kent forced Sanchez (shortstop to second) [Javier scored]; Carter popped to first; 3 R, 3 H, 0 E, 1 LOB. Giants 3, Cubs 5. RIP
  18. Waiting for reputable source...
  19. Ugh I don't understnad the reason behind Gonzales posting this.
  20. Yeah, I guess it's no big deal that only FOUR OTHER PLAYERS IN MLB HISTORY have ever accomplished what Sammy did the other night. Only FOUR OTHER PLAYERS IN MLB HISTORY have hit 587 HR The 587 Home Run Club just doesn't do it for me.
  21. we were 2 rows behind you --- sec 30, seats 3-7. My dad got a shot very similar to yours. Here's the quote of night (along with the whole story). 5:30 AM -- Ryne and I wake up and head for the Airport 8:45 AM -- fly to dallas 10:00 --- land, spend 2 hours "lost" in Dallas with my Dad 12:30 --- enter Six Flags 6:00 ---- exit Six Flags, head to ball game 4th inning --- Ryne is sleeping . . .dead to the World SAMMY HOMERS. . . THE PLACE GOES NUTS.. . . . Ryne says "What hapened?" We say, "Sammy Sosa hit his 600th homer!" Ryne said, "Good, can we leave now?" LOL that's hilarious... we were in section 30. We had an annoying fan of each team behind us trash talking in the most idiotic ways possible. At one point the Cub fan was complaining about the Hometown "Officials." Texas is kind of annoying all the way around.
  22. I just wanted to bragpost about being at the game last night. I did indeed cheer for Sammy on his epic night. We actually decided to go kind of at the last minute and got there barely by the first pitch (we live in Tulsa, OK). Sorry if this makes no sense at all, I just got in and I've been up for over 24 hours now. Seats were 28 rows up on the Rangers side. http://www.danwoody.com/600.jpg My dad's snapshot of #600, I know its not the greatest but you only get one chance eh? Sammy is the man.
