    Instead of the Fantasy League perspective how about looking at the implications for the Cubs. This means Clemenns won't be pitching for our rival Cardinals or Astros... which gives us a much easier path at the playoffs. I know most of us don't think the Astros have much of a chance anyway but this sure is nice nonetheless.

    How do you single out Sosa and Biggio (both terrible arguments anyway) and not mention how Barry Bonds is basically hobbling on one leg in left field? And Bonds is going to sit out on the road to make sure he breaks the record at home... real team player there. Seeing how Barry Bonds has the highest OBP and SLG in the league, I think it'd be a little silly to say that he's too old to play. hahaha, yeah, i think barry might not be the best example of a guy who should've been mentioned as "selfish and only hurting his team." Sorry I didn't mean that he should have bashed Barry, but just that I think its ridiculous to single out Sammy Sosa without any evidence that he's doing it just for himself. I think if he were selfish he would just disappear like Mark McGwire and never make another appearance. I wasn't trying to Barry-bash.

    why, has the rain started again? Lightly raining... men with suits and cell phones on the field talking with the umpires. Field reporter says they want to atleast finish the 7th inning tonight. I wouldn't be too happy with that scenario if I were a Pirate fan. But I'm not.
