The only thing I find funny about Tony Womack is that he's still employed in a baseball capacity. Tony Womack in a Cubs uniform isn't funny its just another reminder of how bad this team is.

Yep, Braves vs. Cubs used to be a series to look forward to. Good pitching match-ups across the board. Sadly, not anymore. Good Luck Z....do it all by yourself BigFella.

*sigh* I've said it before in a couple of other threads, I wouldn't be surprised if Prior doesn't pitch this year. I have no inside knowledge of course but just a "gut" feeling. Something is wrong with the guy.

I'm certainly not a Mariotti fan but this article is good and really what quite a few NSBB posters have been saying. Maybe Mariotti has been trolling these boards for his ideas.

Doesn't make me too happy either. He's my favorite Cub and I ain't gonna too happy when he's a Yankee, Met or Ranger next year. Cause I next to guarantee you he won't be a Cub next year.

If this isn't epic I don't know what is. This is just the Titanic hitting the iceberg. Wait till the ship splits in two! We aren't even in last place in the NL Central yet. We have to wait for the Pirates to pass us before this becomes epic. We don't even play the Pirates again until Aug 4th. So we may stay out of the cellar until they sweep us then. But I doubt it.

I posted this at the end of yesterdays game thread, but here it is again. If we lose today, we'll be 18-28. The exact same record as 2002 on the same date. Don Baylor was fired on July 5th, 2002. Thats an eerie similarity. So I'm guessing Dusty should book the moving vans for July 6th .
