If Theriot looks half way decent today at ss, they might as well send down ronny, and make cesar the "neifi perez super sub" because that kid shouldnt ever leave the starting lineup. then again neither should murton. -
DeRosa played quite a bit of ss. I have no problem keeping izturis, but theriot needs to be in the game at least 5 out 6 games a week.

Another classic chicago sports argument. One cant be good without the other one being bad. Show some perspective kids. Zamby has sucked so far this year, but it doesnt change the fact that he is one of the best pitchers in the league and has been for 3 or 4 years. Zambrano walks a ton of batters, but his era, strikeouts, wins, innings the last four years, amazing. It also doesnt mean Hill is overrrated or underrated. He has been unbelievable. Probably the best pitcher in the majors so far. But its so early. Michael Young is batting .180 so far. I doubt ranger fans are piling into Ameriquest aka Ranger aka Texas toast field with pitch forks and crosses waiting to attack him. I also doubt Toronto's Aaron Hill is worried about who will introduce him during the Hall of Fame induction ceremonies either.

DC is about 4-5 hours from there. Are you implying I didn't know where Virgina Tech is in relation to DC? The Nationals market serves the state of Virgina. Hopefully you were just making a blanket statement. Whether for you, or for anyone else who may have read it and assumed it was closer than that. If something happens at Eastern Illinois, should the Cubs/Sox wear a patch? The commutes, TV rights, are the same. Um... the Nationals are the closet franchise to Blacksburg, the second closet is Baltimore by 30 mins, but since that is in Maryland, the Nationals are considered the home team of the state of Virginia. Im sure most of the posters are aware where the Nations Capital is, and that Virgina is a Large state. The possibility of VT not being two blocks away from RFK probably hit the minds or even the most geographically challenged. But BTW...I think both the sox and cubs could wear and would wear a patch. It would be great for the Nationals to have a VT patch or something like that on their jerseys for the rest of the year.

I cant believe im saying this because I was the one who said we should play through 9/11 because "keeping our life uneffected, strikes a blow to jerks who did it", but I wouldnt mind if they postponed all the games. This is so damn terrible, and honoring the kids that died, and showing national solidarity is a great thing. Maybe im just getting older.

Until a car crash happens and the passengers of said car are wade miller, angel guzman, sean marshall, ryan o malley, carlos marmol and in the other car was donny veal, sean gallagher, gallagher the comic, jamie navarro, dan plesac, and amaury telemaco. And everyone involved in the crash were rendered incapacitated for the whole season... then this news matters. then again, we could just send up rocky cherry and go to a four man rotation.

No they are not. It will be a tough test. The Bears D will be fully healthy with Harris and Brown. So while I do think the Chargers will beat the Bears, but I doubt the Chargers "are going to crush the Bears" as you think. I'm thinking a 7 point differential. Isn't Brown's contract up? I wonder if he will be resigned? Even if it was....both Lovie and Angelos knows how important of a leader Mike Brown is to the team. So Mike would be back regardless. I heard he is a great leader sitting on the bench injured! I would give him another year just with the hope that he comes back and can play a whole year. Yeah lets cut him!!!
